Minister O’ Connor said: “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and are key to ensuring economic recovery” “These award ceremonies provide a fantastic opportunity for small businesses to promote themselves and to generate an awareness of their products and services at local and national level.”

President of JCI Dublin Southside Robert Munnelly said: “The Friendly Business Awards were established to credit local businesses that stand out in serving their community. “The SME community makes a substantial contribution to generating growth & innovation to local economies which is why it is vital we acknowledge their value”

The Friendly Business Awards 2016 had a shortlist of approx. 55 businesses throughout the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown area with six nominees emerging victorious.

  • Disability Access – the Harbour View Business Centre

These six winners will now go forward to represent Dublin Southside at the National Friendly Business Awards final on October 21st in Galway. The winners of the national final will be selected via public vote will, for the first time.
