Bloomfield Health Services
Bloomfield Mental Health Services is a charity providing treatment, care, and support to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs, including specialist services for Huntington’s Disease.
Founded in 1812 by Quakers in Ireland, Bloomfield Mental Health Services provides care that is rooted in the principle of honouring the dignity of every person who comes through its doors.
The services provided at Bloomfield bridge the neurological and psychiatric disciplines. This joint approach is one aspect of what sets Bloomfield apart. Specialist mental health assessment, treatment, and support services are all provided from a purpose-built facility in Rathfarnham. Adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health issues and neuro-psychiatric disorders are treated, such as those with Alzheimer’s Disease, Schizophrenia, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease.
