Judges assess: Community impact, collaboration, social value and local commitment

Award Description:

This award celebrates businesses in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown that are going beyond commercial goals to make a real difference in their communities. Whether through volunteering programmes, charitable partnerships, educational outreach, skills development, or social innovation — this award highlights companies that are building genuine, long-lasting relationships with the people and places around them.

Community engagement can take many forms. What matters most is the intent, consistency, and positive impact of your efforts — and how well your initiatives are aligned with community needs.

Why Enter?

Your business doesn’t exist in isolation — it’s part of a broader social fabric. If you’re investing time, resources, or creativity into building stronger, fairer, or more connected communities, this is your chance to be recognised.

Winning this award affirms your role as a responsible and valued corporate citizen and strengthens your organisation’s social license to operate.

Judging Criteria

  • Collaboration and engagement – Are local stakeholders meaningfully involved?
  • Impact and outcomes – What tangible difference has the project made?
  • Sustainability and continuity – Is the effort long-term or embedded in company culture?
