DLR Chambers annual celebration of International Women’s Day went on line this year, Barbara Scully as ever was the perfect host, our speakers included:
Sinead Moriarty, award-winning international author Sinead’s debut novel “ The Baby Trail” was translated into 25 languages, she has written 14 bestselling novels.
Dee Featherstone, Charity Fundraiser, and businesswoman, Dee’s charity Strip and Dip has achieved 2 Guinness World Records and raised nearly €900,000 for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie – National Children’s Charity. Her Sea of Change Choir helped to launch The EU’s roll-out of their Beating Cancer Plan in February 2021.
Dr. Lorraine ( Lollie) Mancey, UCD Innovation Academy – and a serial Entrepreneur! Lollie also lectures in gender and development and equality studies in UCD’s Department of Social Justice.
Lollie is the winner of the inaugural Trinity University Dermot McAleese Teaching Award and was also Dublin Story slam champion in competitive storytelling.
