Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Chamber has a new President – John O’Toole, Director of Operations, Airfield, Dundrum

The Board of Dún Laoghaire- Rathdown Chamber of Commerce, the leading business organisation in DLR County, is delighted to announce the appointment of John O’Toole as DLR Chamber President.

John has been on the Board of DLR Chamber for four year and headed the Governance Committee that implemented the Chamber’s new Constitution in 2022.

As Director of Finance, Operations and Sustainability with Airfield Estate, one of DLR’s tourism attractions and educational resources, John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to DLR Chamber.

John also sits on the Steering Committee for Tourism in DLR County Council.

Said John “I look forward to working with my fellow board members in DLR Chamber, to continue to grow the Chamber within Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown into 2024. Now that business is really ploughing ahead again, I am also looking forward to celebrating the success of businesses in DLR, with our DLR County Chamber Business Awards later this year”.

We would like to thank outgoing President Dermot Ferris for his enthusiasm and commitment to the Chamber during his term and Vice President Deidre Kane, Area Manager of Bank of Ireland for her excellent contribution during the year.

We are looking forward to another busy year in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown business community.
