Award Description:
The Destination & Placemaking Award celebrates organisations, partnerships and projects that make Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown a more attractive place to live, work, visit and invest.
This award recognises initiatives that improve public spaces, strengthen local identity, encourage economic activity and create welcoming, vibrant destinations. Judges are looking for projects that demonstrate collaboration, creativity and measurable positive impact on the local community.
Entries may include regeneration projects, cultural initiatives, public realm improvements, tourism development, town centre activation, safety initiatives, arts and heritage projects, environmental enhancements or collaborative placemaking programmes.
Businesses, community organisations, public bodies and partnerships are all encouraged to enter.
