Pamela has enjoyed success in a wide variety of Senior Sales Management Roles in IT Companies including experience in running End-User Sales Teams, Channel Sales Teams, Web & Direct Telesales Teams for Dell Computer in Ireland and Australia and in IBM and Lenovo based in Sydney.
She returned to live in Ireland in 2014 and joined Cpl Resources, Ireland’s Largest Talent and Recruitment Company as Head of Business Development for the South East Region. She built up the client base and candidate base and enabled Waterford, Wexford and Kilkenny based customers to achieve their growth plans by hiring key talent into their organisations.
In 2015 Pamela took up the position of Head of Bank of Ireland covering Waterford City and County with responsibility to drive the Business, Customer, People and Digital agenda across all 7 Branches. She led out & lived out the Bank of Ireland purpose of enabling Customers, Colleagues and Communities to thrive throughout Waterford.
Pamela was a Board Member for Waterford Chamber of Commerce for 5 years between 2015-2020 serving the Business membership base through Networking opportunities, Business Mentoring and helping businesses to connect.
She was also a member of the Waterford Rotary Club who strived to support local charities and community groups through the Club’s mantra of “Service before Self” and also enjoyed being an active Board Member for Newtown School Waterford a co-educational secondary school situated in Waterford City.
Pamela returned to Sydney with her family in October 2020 to take up a role as Commercial Business Advisor for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, In this role she leveraged off her past experience to help grow a Kiwi portfolio of Tech and Services Companies to set up and scale up in the Australian Market. She was part of Jacinda Ardern’s Trade Delegation to Australia in July 2022 helping to showcase the successes NZ Businesses had achieved in the Australian Market.
Pamela returned to Ireland in August 2022 and took on the role of Membership Development Manager for the Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce. Working closely with the CEO based in Melbourne Pamela’s mandate was to add value to existing Chamber Members by delivering Programs, Events and opportunities to connect as well as to recruit and onboard New Members. She was part of supporting a 2-week long Business Delegation visiting Ireland from Australia in June 2022 involving several Australian companies interested in setting up a presence in Ireland. This role involves close partnering with the Australian Embassy Team based in Dublin.
Pamela is passionate about helping Businesses to grow and is delighted to be taking up the position as CEO of DLR Chamber.
